Started in 1970 Preksha Meditation is the result of the untiring efforts of Ganadhipati Tulsi and Acharya Mahapragya. Acharya Mahapragya researched and experimented for twenty years to rediscover the process of meditation, which was practiced by Lord Mahaveera. Preksha Meditation is for everyone, irrespective of his or her race, religion language, colour, sex and belief.

Thousands of successful camps and seminars of national and international level have been organized to inculcate the techniques of this unique method called Preksha Meditation. More than 550,000 people around the world, with different cultural backgrounds and religions, have benefited from regularly practicing it. Amongst them are people from all walks of life. Preksha Meditation has proved a panacea for transmutation of thoughts, development of right emotions, developments of right emotions, positive thoughts and after all increasing the efficiency of mind and body.

YOGASAN


Yogasan is not only a physical exercise. It is a science, which develops personality, leads a person to harmony, peace, concentration and balance. It helps to practice meditation. Yoga is a group of ancient spiritual practices originating in India. As a general term in Hinduism it has been defined as referring to "technologies or disciplines of asceticism and meditation which are thought to lead to spiritual experience and profound understanding or insight into the nature of existence."

Yoga is also intimately connected to the religious beliefs and practices of the other Indian religions.

Outside India, Yoga is mostly associated with the practice of asanas (postures) of Hatha Yoga or as a form of exercise, although it has influenced the entire Indian religions family and other spiritual practices throughout the world.

Major branches of Yoga include: Hatha Yoga, Karma Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, and Raja Yoga. Raja Yoga, known simply as Yoga in the context of Hindu philosophy, is one of the six orthodox (astika) schools of thought, established by the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.


PRANAYAM


Pranayam is the advanced technique of stilling the breath. It helps to achieve a calm, blissful and focused mind. It balances left and right hemispheres and is important in preparation for meditation.


KAYOTSARG


Kayotsarg is a tool for self-purification and realisation. It helps to reduce physical, mental, emotional, intellectual stress and anxiety. In this age of tension and stress, Kayotsarg leads to a happy, peaceful and contented life.


ANUPREKSHA


Anupreksha is full concentration on a single ancient conception. This is an efficient process of ascertaining the reality. Ancient philosophers and seers used this tools extensively for realising the Truth.


MANTRA MEDITATION


Mantra Meditation is a powerful ancient practice. It affects the chemistry of the body and mind. Mantra Meditation awakens consciousness and enlightenment.

THE YOGA MASTER - ACHARYA MAHAPRAGYA


Acharya Mahapragyaji - often described as "A Living Legend" is not merely a person but also a purpose, not just a being but also a belief. He is that perception that cannot be bound by Time or Territory. Thought’s churned out from the depths of his meditation are lasting and effective. He dispelled many myths about the religion and its rites and rituals. He said, "The religion which does not bring about a change in man’s life, which does not impart peace to him, deserves to be thrown in the river Ganges rather than carried on as a burden on one’s shoulders. Rituals or idol worship alone are not enough unless one’s conduct also gets transformed. Unless one is righteous and honest, both to himself and others, and leads a value oriented life, he is not religious despite his proclamation". He is an erudite scholar of Jain Agamas , a reputed critic of Indian and western philosophy ,a coordinator of Science and spiritualism and a sincere disciple of Acharya Tulsi.

Besides being a Philosopher - thinker lost in Philosophy he is also a sensitive poet. His verses both in Hindi and Sanskrit , reveal his subtle delicate feelings. As a poet , it is difficult to categories him into a type. Is he a poet of torrential waves of ecstasy or renunciation , a singer of the nature’s beauty or its monstrosity or of the man in clutches of machine, mechanization or machinations nobody can tell. Sambodhi, Ashruvina, Mukulam (in Sanskrit) and Rishabhayana (in Hindi) are some of the literary Jewels contributed by him to the world of literature.

This noble soul and great thinker was born in 1921 at Tamkar , a small village in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan (India) . At the tenure age of 10 years he became a monk . Under the able guidance of Acharay Shree Tulsi , he got his education and proved himself as an ardent disciple. A study of History , Philosophy , Logic, Grammar etc. made the foundations of his Knowledge strong and secure. He also made an in-depth study of Modern Physics and Bio - sciences, Ayurved ( Indian systems of medicines) Politics , Economics , and Sociology with the modern trends of Communism, Socialism and Capitalism and gally became a leader of all the senior and talented saints of Jainism.
